- June 8th: Solving Pest Problems in the Landscape and Garden: Safe and Sustainable Methods. We all face pest problems from time to time in the home landscape and garden. And we have many options when it comes to managing them. But what works? And how do we protect our environment, beneficial insects, family members and pets? Join University of Idaho Extension Educator, Ariel Agenbroad, in exploring a balanced approach to integrated pest management, including:
- How to correctly identify a potential problem?
- How to decode a pesticide label?
- Pesticide safety basics
- Effective, least toxic alternatives
ISDA Pesticide Recertification: 3 Credits.
Workshops will be held at the McCall College, 106 East Park Street in McCall, starting 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th.
