We work with small acreage producers to support sustainable food and fiber production through workshops, one-on-one consultations and publications.
Courses offered as part of the Cultivating Success: Small Farms Education Program include:
Sustainable Small Farming and Ranching (SSFR): Participants in this course learn about sustainable agriculture, marketing options and whole farm planning while exploring the feasibility of a small farm business. Intensive 10-12 week class plus three farm tours. SSFR is occasionall offered as an 8 week on-line course.
