The Idaho 4-H Youth Development program is dedicated to encourage our youth participants to pursue continuing education beyond the high school level.  A variety of scholarship opportunities exist to assist current and/or former members with their post-secondary education costs.

Idaho 4-H Teen Conference is just around the corner.  See the Idaho 4-H State Teen Conference Page for the most up to date information and registration forms.

For those local teens looking for scholarships to help pay the fees, here are a couple of opportunities:

District Teen Conference Scholarship Application is open to the 10 Northern counties and consists of 13 $100 scholarships. This scholarship is due March 14, 2014.

Teen Conference Mike Beck Scholarship is available for Kootenai & Shoshone 4-H members, the amount varies each year.  This scholarship is due March 17, 2014.

There are many opportunities for graduating 4-H members to get financial support for college or vocational education.

At the state level, there are numerous  options.  Follow this link to see all of them along with the application(s) –  state level scholarships.  These are primarily due by February 1st.

At the county level high school seniors can apply for the following scholarships which are due by April 1st.

Kootenai/Shoshone 4-H Leaders Association Scholarship

Ford Cederblom Scholarship

The  North Idaho Fair Foundation Scholarship is also available to 4-H members from the North Idaho Fair Foundation Board and is due March 3rd.
