What we do

We provide unbiased research-based programs in agriculture, horticulture, health, nutrition, food safety and preservation, and youth development.

4-H Youth Development

4-H prepares young people to step up to the challenges in their community and the world. Using research-based programming focused on positive youth development, 4-H youth get the hands-on, real-world experience they need to become leaders.

 Eat Smart Idaho
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education(SNAP-ED)

SNAP-Ed teaches people eligible for SNAP how to make healthy choices with a limited budget, and choose active lifestyles consistent with the current Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate.
