Food Safety and Preservation
UI Extension educators provide food safety training to consumers through classes as well as in-person and telephone consultations. The goal of food safety education is to maintain the health of Idaho residents by preventing outbreaks of food-borne illness. See our Food Safety and Preservation FAQ for more information.
Classes are offered throughout the year on subjects ranging from menu planning, saving money at the grocery store, preparing healthy, wholesome foods, dinner and social etiquette, and exercise and strength training. Please call or email us for details.
