The University of Idaho 4-H Youth Development program will host the third annual Livestock Skill-a-thon on January 18, 2014 at the Jerome County Fairgrounds.
The goal of the contest is to provide youth with the chance to blend the knowledge and skills they’ve acquired in livestock judging, care and exhibition into a single activity. It also aims to recognize participants for their industry and instill ethical values, sportsmanship and product evaluation skills.
Completed registration forms and entry fees are due by December 20, 2013 to the UI Extension, Gooding County office. An entry fee of $20 per team member will be due with the team entry.
