Root Cellars: Storing Your Garden Harvest

Learn cold storage techniques for your garden vegetables at the end of the season.  This class will include harvesting techniques and different cold storage methods.  You don’t necessarily need a root cellar to storage your produce.  We will discuss several storage methods including using root cellars and trenches in the garden.

Saving Seed: From Seed to Seed

Saving seed can be a fun experience.  Learn how to plant you garden for best seed production.  Also learn proper steps and techniques to ensure that you have quality seed for use next year.

With the gardening season coming to an end, it is time to put the garden to bed and store all equipment and tools properly.  Learn what you can do now to be better prepared when next spring rolls around.
