Master Food Safety Advisor/Advanced Master Food Safety Advisor

The Master Food Safety Advisor Program teaches individuals how to safely preserve a variety of food products. This program also teaches food safety, food storage, and more.  Dates for the 2015 class will be provided late winter/early spring 2015.   Details

Harvest Food Preservation Classes

Learn about food preservation, from dehydration to canning.  Classes are held in the late summer/early fall.  Details.  Check back mid-summer for times, dates, and specific classes to be offered.

Whole Grain Artisan Breads

Learn to make whole grain breads from stored high-moisture dough.  Learn new recipes and ideas for Artisan bread so  you can eat “half your grains whole.”  Class dates will be posted when available.  Details

Using Sourdough and Preferment Dough

Learn the science of baking with sourdough starters and preferment doughs, and how to safely use sourdough starter.  Taste sourdough bread, rustic bread, preferment bread, and chocolate cake made with starter.  Class dates will be posted when available.  Details

Cook Once, Eat for a Week

Preparing a week’s worth of meals in a single day seems like a big task.  Learn the basics of preparing multiple meals in one day to provide healthy, home-cooked meals at an affordable cost.  Class dates will be posted when available.  Details

StrongWomen-Healthy Habits

This program is a hands-on way to make positive changes to help you eat better, move more, and improve your general health and well-being.  Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Class dates will be posted when available.  Details

Healthy Habits

This eight week program is held using a “non-meeting” format. Email tips for healthy living will be sent to you each week. The program is FREE, but we would like to hear from you in regard to your progress and success using this program.  A new series of tips and different areas of focus will be offered fall 2014.  Details
