Ada County, located in southwestern Idaho, has the state’s largest population and ranks 31st in area among Idaho’s 44 counties. According to the 2012 Census estimate, Ada County had a population of 409,061. Ada County holds almost one-third of the state’s population.
The UI Extension, Ada County office is located in Boise, which is the county seat and state capitol. Our office is located at 5880 Glenwood Street, which is located near the Western Idaho Fairgrounds, Boise Hawks Stadium and the Garden City Library. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (open during lunch).
